Have a great activity idea?

Example

Course: Economics

Topic/Concept: Scarcity

Grade: 5-12

Objective: Students will see that when a resource is scarce, choices have to be made about who gets what. Resources can be allocated in a variety of ways, price being one way.

Procedure: Buy fewer donuts than you have students. Have the students write down as many ways as they can think of for you to decide who gets donuts. When I did this, I brought in 6 donuts for a class of 16.
